Faith Patrick, born 1992, is a Canadian painter, sculptor, and writer. Her practice is invested in her identity as a young female artist and its parallels to questions of certainty, originality, and resolution in painting. Her large and small scale paintings are sites of negotiation between the figurative and abstract, the cautious and impulsive, the original and remixed, and the finished and unfinished.

“Paintings inspired by the textures and movements by the Seaside.”

Kristyn paints for love and passion. She finds inspiration everywhere and I loves delving into the creative process. Her favourite process is laying down a few lines and letting the painting emerge from the original strokes. While working on her BFA at York University she took on the more applied side of Art by starting a Studio-Gallery in the quaint tourist town of Bayfield, Ontario. Because of the touristic nature of the location, her work resides in collections all over Canada, the USA, Australia, and many countries in Europe. Currently, she is based in Toronto, yet traveling as much as possible to fuel her inspiration.
